Meet Sarah

Sarah is a qualified Ayurvedic Practitioner & Massage Therapist, Yoga Teacher & Reiki Master.

With a focus on balance and healing, Sarah uses the sophisticated sister sciences of Yoga and Ayurveda to bring optimum health to body, mind and soul. These holistic practices are just as powerful today in the Western world, as they were thousands of years ago, when they originated in India.

Sarah began practising yoga 25 years ago, and has gained over 3500 hours teaching experience. Sarah's teaching style is relaxed, fun and light-hearted, but encourages correct and safe alignment with lots of verbal prompts throughout her intelligently sequenced classes and offers hands-on assists to gently deepen your practice. All yoga classes incorporate breathwork and mindfulness, with a grounding guided relaxation at the end transporting you into a truly relaxed state of body and mind.

From January 2023, Sarah is taking a break from her regular work schedule to travel around the UK and Europe in a campervan and learn some new exciting skills along the way. 

Joined by her husband Nick and springer spaniel Hazel, they continue to offer yoga retreats from SE Cornwall and Spain, alongside online consultations and home retreat packages.

 

The Science of Life

Restore balance and harmony with Ayurveda, a natural and holistic healing system of medicine originating in India over 5000 years ago.

Rather than using chemical drugs to manage the symptoms of a disorder, Ayurveda treats the root cause of a disease and the individual as a whole, using the wisdom of plants and nature.

Personalised treatment plans incorporate diet and lifestyle recommendations, home remedies and natural herbal supplements to heal and re-balance.

When the digestion and immune systems are strengthened and toxins causing dis-ease in the body are removed from the system, one can regain health and equilibrium in body and mind.

Ayurvedic Massage Therapy

Regular massage assists the body in self-healing and is a powerful, holistic treatment for many disorders such as arthritis, asthma, insomnia, digestive disorders, inflammation, headaches and stress.

Large quantities of luxuriously warm, therapeutic oils are used to nourish and soothe the skin; ease aches and pains in the muscles and joints and melt away stress and tension.

Ayurveda offers so much more than a spa or sports massage. The therapeutic deep tissue massage is followed by an acupressure point massage (marma madana), a chakra massage with Reiki and a hot herbal poultice massage (pinda sweda). Its unique approach is deeply healing and induces you into relaxed state, calming body-mind-soul with long lasting effects that often prompt your own body's self-healing mechanisms of detoxification and cleansing.

Note: Sarah is currently only able to offer treatments on yoga retreats.

Yoga Classes & Retreats

Sarah teaches a range of yoga styles including Vinyasa Flow, Yoga for Beginners, Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, HIIT Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga and Parent & Baby Yoga.
